    DH in Ontario

    Hi guys,

I've been riding XC now for 6 years and am considering giving DH a try but I'm not sure of any places in southern Ontario where there are DH trails. I'm planning a trip to Blue Mountain this summer but not sure where else to give it a try. Any suggestiond would be great. Thanks.

Kelso in milton has a dowhill course, the lifts aren't generally working, but the hill isn't so long so the ride/push back up isn't completeley torturous.

It's an option if your'e close to milton, but much like their skiing it's nothing particularily special worth driving any great distance just for the downhill
it tied the room together man!

Heights of Horseshoe (accross road from Horseshoe valley)
    Blue Mountain (Collingwood)
    Kelso Consevation Area (Milton)
    Calabogie Peaks (Ottawa)
    Boler Mountain (London)

And that is about it.... I suggest a few weekenders to Tremblant, Mount St Anne, and Bromont (all in Quebec).

...and let's not forget Camp Fortune, in Quebec as well but pretty much right outside Ottawa.
I think Calabogie is only open after the race this year so as of what August/Septmeber or something like that?...

I'm pretty sure Tremblant is no longer running a lift service however certain trails are available, more mountainous xc then DH though.
