Christie Lake - weeding and trimming

Does anyone know if we can use one of the conservation weed eaters? How we would go about setting that up?
I was up last night and cut down all of the thistles and burdocks, hopefully I got them all. They were freaking me out, some of them were bigger than me.
Someone else was there doing some trimming as well but would be easier with a big weed eater.

Also, on the eastern part of the Trillium trail there is a big fallen pine leaning over the trail just held up by friction. It should be cut down but needs a skilled person and chainsaw to do it.

Thanks for the work, Slash5. I don't pop on here very often any more. As deke505 says, the Facebook group is the best place to communicate, and if you're not on Facebook, go to the Hamilton Cycling Club site and send an email to Marc (Club president) or Bryan (mountain bike trails rep). I'll pass on your message this time.

With the logging done, the greenery has really popped up this year - it never used to be a maintenance issue. It is on the radar!
