Anyone caught setting this kind of trap should be jailed for attempted murder.

I've only ridden north from the Pottery Rd trailhead once, about 10 years ago. Is there much foot traffic where this possibly occurred? I seem to recall the trails arent what the average would be interested in due to the terrain. I'm just curious if there are conflicts between walkers/hikers & MTBers like what has happened in BC.

There is massive foot and cycling traffic on all these trails, probably dozens of people per hour during all daylight hours.

The wire was probably installed a few minutes before John hit it.
The above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration

Let me guess.... This is on a trail that mountain bikers built or maintain?

Mountain bikers are generally a rational bunch...until someone moves a rock on our favorite trail and we lose our minds - LMN
