    Buckwallow: some "technical" pics

By popular request I have snapped a few pics of some of the more technical sections at Buckwallow. I apologize for the lack of quantity or quality, but I was also working on my project of GPS tracking for all the trails and was pressed for time. And the pics do not give an adequate sense of height and or steepness. It was a solo ride so I tried to use my bike for scale. These were taken on some of the 4 & 5 rated trails, which are full of more of the same. Nor did I shoot any of the continuos rock and root gardens peppered throughout these trails. They can be very difficult to ride clean, but it never shows in photos. Note that these trails can easily be bypassed on main trail by anyone not wishing to ride at this level. And to anyone that can ride "Weasel" clean, I will buy them a beer next time they are in town

Had a blast there on Sunday!

Me and my Santa Cruz Nomad did end up cleaning 'Weasel' and 'Do Drop In'. I was very excited, I had a few close calls, almost clipped out in a few spots. I love the section at the end that shoots you out into the double track

    To Mike at Buckwallow....

That looks like a ton of fun, much like some of our local trails.

I really love your spoke-less (appearing) xtr wheels, sharp!

rode there on the weekend....place is looking good! first attempt on the log crossing on stumpy, had a mind fart, and the front dropped off halfway though....landed right on my head, didn't even put my hands out.....good times! ( and a little dirt burn on the forehead)....tried it again and rode it out! Great natural obstacles.....would still like to see at least one trail that is all man made stunts, ladders, teeters, bridges etc....

Loving BuckWallow... I rode this drop a few times. Always makes me laugh when I do this drop on a rigid bike, and others on 5/6" trail bikes hesitate.
