    Buckwallow

I am trying to get up to Buckwallow for a ride on Friday. Does anyone know when it opens in the morning? Also, is it still $10 to ride there? Thanks for any info

Yes, $10 for day pass...kids 12 & under free when with an adult. Opens at 8am but Mike is usually there and opening up 15-20' early. Enjoy!

    8am awesome!
My departure time from Peterborough Thursday morning just went from 8am to 6am.
I cant wait to ride Buckwallow, I have been trying to get there for a couple seasons now but some thing always keeps me away. Not this year. Checking out the local weather it looks like its going to rain all day Wednesday, will Buckwallow be ok to ride on Thursday?

Thanks BCD! I knew when I posed the question that if anyone would have an answer, it would be you Much appreciated!

I am looking forward to going. It has been a couple of years since I was last there, so it should make for a memorable trip (and the weather is supposed to be good too which helps!).

    Awesome thanks
One more question, what do you recomend for tires? I dont need a brand just a style. I currently have Kenda slant six's on there now, should I put on something with a little more tread?

    Thanks again

I use a tire with less tread than your slant 6's but with the rain we are receiving right now you could go a bit heavier? because it's sandy and does dry out quick I would stick with your S6's and as the day progresses they will work better and better.

    Have a good ride

When riding there, don't overlook the excellent double track further into Buckwallow like Mohawk Trail and Burnt Pine Trail. Be sure to give us a report of your ride there as well. Enjoy your day.
