There are definitely deals to be had. You need to know your prices though. It's not all great deals. I remember some great deals on previous year bikes. Research prices on what you're looking for before you go.

Been a few times. I go on a Sunday. The prices have usually dropped a bit by then. Two years ago I got a Cervelo aluminum Tri bike for $1050. On Friday it was a couple hundred more. Some stuff is gone by then though, so it depends how much they have of what you want.

Is it a good show if you dont plan on buying anything?

Wouldnt mind checking out the new stuff, or is just a clearout type deal?

A few high-end bikes are on display to look over, but mainly it's a clear-out. Overall it's well laid out and ok for walking around and checking out products, and there are booths for travel, charity rides, etc. The fall show is a disaster in comparison (one day, long lines, lots of "junk"...but maybe a few more good deals).

You can usually find a deal on a Camelbak or a helmet, other than that its a crap shoot. Lots of inflated prices then marked down. The illusion of a sale. There are a few good deals to be had though. I spend most of my time there watching the competitions and the bike polo games.

I think you might be disappointed after travelling that far. It's not like the big bike shows in the US where all kinds of manufacturers have booths displaying cool new stuff that we haven't seen. It's bike shops mostly that have stuff on display. Mostly clearance I think. The bmx comp is pretty cool though. That has always been my favourite part.
