New question here. Best place to camp near 3 stage?

Thinking of going to collingwood for a little camping and riding this coming weekend, looking for the best place both proximatey and environment to camp near 3 stage, never ridden it but heard good things.
any other advice on what to ride would be great, directions coming from toronto would be apreciated too, my computer and internet conection is super slow right now so im having a little trouble searching for relevant information.
    thanks steve

Best place to camp would be Craigleith Prov park on Hwy 26 just west of Grey 19 rd( mountain rd)

Depending on how fit you are and much you enjoy riding you could ride right from the campground to 3stages.

craigleith is OK and close, but make sure you have reservations...its always full this trime of year...lots of private campgrounds around wasaga and collingwood, should be no problem if you call ahead...check with the collingwood tourist info, just at the bottom of 1'st street and 26...i always found them to be of great help

if its your first time at 3 stage, make sure to pick up a map at kamikaze or squire johns...place is failry big and its easy to get turned around

    may see you there

forgot to mention...this upcoming weekend (july 23-24) is the last anual Collingwood Elvis Festival...then the long weekend. Both are the busiest weekends of the summer up here, good thing that the elvii don't bike, but accomodations are scarce

    stay happy
