    Anyone want a Trans-Wales entry???

So, we decided that doing a stage race six months pregnant might not be the most fun thing in the world. However, we'd already signed up and paid the deposit for Trans-Wales. Turns out, even for such credible circumstances as this, and with lots of notice, the deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable. Should be a fabulous time. Anyone interested?

    What package do you have?

Is it a team of two?

If so, I would seriously consider going if another like minded Ontario rider was interested.

    Anyone interested?

We signed up for one silver, one gold package (both include food; gold includes a tent we planned to share). However, we only paid the deposit, so they'd hopefully be a little bit flexible on this. And, ya, no - flights not included (unless you pay me a SUBSTANTIAL booking fee).

It really does look like a fantastic time. I'd be seriously envious and demand a race report!

This whole baby thing has meant we've had to exit a few events. Lumberjack 100 entries we were able to give away. SS Worlds refunded our money. TransWales is the last on the list.

All this has freed up enough cash that we're going to a family wedding in the south of France in late July instead. We'll bookend that with visits to Barcelona and Paris so my regrets are pretty minimal!
Please enjoy seeing this terrible collection of me - something wonderful is about to happy.

Will your visit to Paris coincide with the end of the Tour?

It was one of the first things we looked at but sadly will miss the end of the Tour by a week. (And the German Grand Prix would have been awkward as well...)

Nope - we'll miss it by more than a week. Can't win 'em all.

You know, you and Cpt. Sydor would have a lot of fun in Wales...
