Not sure...it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't happening again. Garage Monster is busy being a dad, building trails and running for City Councillor and his campaign will be gearing up in October. I understand that the Cpt. has relatives in from out of town. I don't know the trails nearly well enough to lead this ride...

But come to the Turkey Cross on Thanksgiving Weekend at Christie instead!

As said by Unglued, I'd highly doubt it. For a variety of reasons, Nerdgirl and GarageMonster have stepped back from these amazing rides they organized.

My weekends are looking pretty booked up for October, but if people just happened to gather at Domestique some morning the weekend of Oct 25/26, I could likely let people follow me around on a tour of colours.

Closest would be if a bunch met at Domestique and rode out to Christie to spectate and drink beer.

unfortunately I am travelling October the 8th to the 18th but would sure show up on the 25th weekend if there was a ride organized. I even built up my Dundas Monstercross bike hoping to participate.

I think what is happening in this thread is exactly what has to happen. Organizing unsanctioned and uninsured rides is highly illegal. Apparently, the OCA, RCMP, HCC and Hamilton Police have been monitoring the internet, social media and cellphone conversations of cyclists. If you are caught "organizing" a ride, no matter the level of socialization and asshattery involved, you are looking at five and a deuce in the joint - with no exercise bikes.

I want to make it quite clear I will not, can not and should not ride with any of you. If you try to recruit me you are incorrigible, anti social, corrupt, callus and shameful. Cycling is a crime. Recognize it as that.

So, I may be hanging our at Domestique at around 8am on October 25th with my CX bike....but not on the 26th as I am on dad duty.

And someone better be handing me beers at the Turkey Cross too. I like a nice hoppy IPA
