Albion Hills open weekdays after 5pm??

Has anybody ridden Albion Hills during the week after 5pm yet? Their site shows April hours until 5pm, but who knows if that's current.
Hope someone knows this for sure. Thanks.

Yes, although it may not be advertised

Our bike club rides there on a regular basis, with our rides starting after 6:00pm on a weekday. However, the gates may only open when the campground officially opens.

Thanks. So if the gate is closed, do you know if it's safe to park outside the gate on the side of the road? I mean, I don't want to get a ticket, or worse - towed.

    send them an e-mail

I suggest you send them an e-mail, they're pretty quick to respond. If you find out though, please let us know here. I would be up for a group ride if anyone else is, I plan to start biking there evenings when we have light till maybe 8:30+ and on some weekends.

Hey, just talked to a guy there. He said even after they close - and they do close early until the end of April - you're allowed to be on the trail, and can park the car outside the gate. I'm going right after work!

    have fun

Enjoy (I'm jealous). My current bike has some mechanical issues and I'm waiting to buy a new bike (soon). So I'm going golfing instead...weather is nice!
