A good question... the only place I can think of that one can officially camp that is close is Darlington Provincial Park and it is probably a 30-35min drive away.

If you are in one of the fancy Sprinter vans that is a tad different and I might be able to offer some unofficial suggestions, for those you can PM me.

Do you have to buy tickets ahead of time or do you pay when you arrive?

    Hey Joey,

tickets/admission is on arrival this year.
Donít forget to bring ID and possibly a credit card (not sure how the manufacturers allow the bikes to go out), your helmet and possibly pedals if you typically ride clipless.

I honestly donít know about the credit card, but to be safe - 13 different manufacturers and they are all different in how they do things... Iím finding that when I was requesting the insurance documents from each of them.

How do these group rides work? One every hour or so?
Never ridden out there, so it'll be great to tag along.

The group rides are more geared towards the kids on the beginner loops, you might find these a bit too easy seeing as you are on this forum. There is an intermediate and advanced demo loop, both will be clearly marked and are a good intro to the forest and should take approx 20min to complete.

Emily Batty will be present on Saturday at the Demo Festival! she will be signing posters and hanging out for a bit. Not sure what time she will be there though (honestly, I would share if I knew)

Well, it was a great event. Great riding out there, and I'll definitely go back. Those trails are pristine and the berms are super fun. The place reminded me of the riding at Turkey point. Pretty flat, but a lot of fast, flowy, sharp turns. Didn't test any bikes but I got to meet Miss Batty. Such a nice and gracious young lady.
To the DMBA, excellent job on those trails.

Thanks, glad you had a great day! We were pretty busy. Every time I walked down the row, every manufacturer was out of bikes!

Anytime you want to come out and ride let me know, I can give you 3hr tour and hit all the good stuff in all 3 main forests!
