2018 24 Hours of Summer Solstice

    Who's in this year?
Haven't done it since 2013 and looking forward to it.
Landed a spot on a 5 man team, so we should get at least 4-5 laps.

I'm in. I was there in 2013 and a couple of times before and since. I'm interested to see what route Chico comes up with this year. It's a little more difficult to link the course back to the chalet with the one road by the lake all torn up.
I'm on a solo team. ( I am a solo team (?)). Actually a real solo team 'cause my wife doesn't feel like being pit crew for this one.
    Cheers, Dave

    Solo, that's hardcore. : )

Hopefully this weekend is not as hot as the last. I did the course this weekend... until I got to that construction and got confused. Course is really nice with less climbing and a lot of the trails in reverse.

Fast is hardcore, solo is stoopid. I think that construction area will be really well marked off by the weekend. I thought the course was good too.

Looking for one rider for a 4 person team if anyone is interested. We lost one team mate so are down to 3.

We would also take three people, as we were an 8 person team and we split into 2 teams to get more riding. 5 per team would be ideal.

Yeah, looks like the course could get a bit sloppy out there. Hopefully any significant rain misses us.

Well, the weather was actually descent... until they shut the race down mid-morning due to torrential downpour. Had a great time as usual with a great racecourse.

I think we really lucked out on the weather. If it was closer to T.O. it would have gotten cancelled with the rain they got. We have a 10 man and 5 man team. The 10 man probably wanted to ride a bit sunday morning but 5 man was pretty done. I heard a guy might of broken his neck during the night. They took him out in an ambulance. Hopefully he is okay. It is hard to prevent injuries with so many riders.

There were a couple of tricky spots on the night laps before the rains came, some of the corners got pretty loose and blown out. I went OTB on one of my night laps, no injuries tho.

Yeah, heard about the poor neck guy. Also saw a guy break some ribs on the rooty descent by the chalet.
