XT or XTR 11speed shifter with X01 11 speed derailleur

Anybody tried the above, usually it's a no go between companies but the XTR 11 speed i-spec ii shifter is £50 cheaper than an X01 11 speed shifter and problem solver.

I have 11 speed grip shift and want to change as I keep shifting by mistake when riding over techy stuff.

    TIA

Well, with 105 lookies and no comments I'm going out on a limb to say not compatible! Whats the deal with the problem solver?

Yeah, I was thinking the nobody has tried.

Problem solver removes the discreet clam and allows to mount to i-spec II on my xt brakes.

Impossible. Cable pull is different between sram and shimano.

Ok, now I get the overall of your post, changing from the griptwist-trigger. Yeah as Westin mentioned, different pull ratios with intermingling of these shifter/ders. Unless your other drivetrain parts are in need of replacement, I'd just get the SRAM trigger and get on with it.
