Wow, big weight difference in the nicer SRAM stuff!

Finally got around to finishing the drivetrain swap on my hardrock.
The stock stuff was SRAM x3 stuff with a 12-32 7 speed cassette.
I had already had a stylo 1.1 gxp installed and removed the front der and shifter.
When I dropped the bike off we threw it on the scale and it came up a dead even 28#, after installing 2011 x9 med rear, pg-980 11-34 cassette, x9 9 speed shifter, and a pc-991 chain and fresh cable housing the bike weighed 27.11#.
I was surprised it took almost a whole pound off the bike and the shifting is fantastic compared to the lower line SRAM stuff that was stock.
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.
    2014 Giant Anthem 27.5 here.

Sram X3 does feel incredibly cheap compared to X7 and higher. I'm sure you'll be really happy with the upgrade.
When under pressure, your level of performance will sink to your level of preparation.
