Who is goin to make an i-spec B to 2 adapter???

    Hello all,

I have XT brakes that are i-spec B, and I would like to be able to mount a new XTR i-spec 2 shifter...

I know they wont line up, and I'm sure there are other people that want to upgrade their drivetrain to 11 speed without adding a bar mount shifter.

Is there anyone out there that has tried this or is there a solution in the works?

Have you looked at the covers? How different are the shiftier bodies? Can an older XTR ISPEC B cover fit on the new shifter?

I'd personally give it a shot. The new bar mount still bolts to the cover. I'd wager buying a bar mount new shifter and bolting the older Ipsec mount to it would work.

    $40 experiment.

You'd have to do some modifications, someone tried to fit it and it didn't work.

The I-Spec-B shifter can't be too far away from being released, Shimano recently published the exploded diagram for it.

I have two back orders open for this with CRC and Evans cycles. Evans was supposed to have it in on 11/6, but has now pushed that back to Jan 6th 2016... Still have the CRC order open for a date of Nov 20th (fingers crossed)
