Shimano press fit BB92 and GXP press fit BB92 the same?

I am in the process of switching out the stock crankset on my new Scott Scale 29er pro. It came with the Shimano 3x10 cransket with Shimano press fit BB92 bottom bracket. I want to change the crankset to the X.9 2x10 (39/27) crankset and was wondering if it will work with the Shimano press fit bottom bracket or if I will have to get and use the GXP press fit BB. I can not seem to find detailed specs of the internal bearing diameters of the two to compare or any documentation stating that they are interchangeable. Anyone that can help with a few answers?

    Thanks

the non drive side bearing has a smaller ID than the driveside. IIRC sram and shimano share the driveside bearing size, but at the very least you will need to switch the non drive one.

in short, you'll need a new BB set for your X9 crank.

Thanks for the info slidecontrol. I was guessing as much because it would be too much to ask for there to be a standard between the companies. GXP BB92 press fit on the way.
