Quarq DZero Powermeter XX1 Eagle BB30 crank on SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS DUB spindle?

I bought a new bike with SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS DUB crank. I already had a Quarq DZero powermeter XX1 Eagle for a BB30 bike, but the BB30 spindle is not nearly long enough to fit the new frame. I would really like to be able to also use the powermeter on my new bike. The spider is not interchangeable between the driveside cranks (XX1 AXS DUB is 3 bolt direct mount and the DZero powermeter crank is an 8 bolt spider setup).

    However:

This conical 8-sided interface end of the spindle:

and 8 sided part of the driveside crank where the spindle inserts:Name: Spindle-crank-interface-SRAM2.jpg

look very much compatible (note: the pictures are examples, not foto's of my actual spindle and crank). The tightning nut on the crank neatly fits the tread in the spindle, but I can't find any specific info on whether the conical 8-sided interface of the spindle and the crank match exactly (in terms of length of the conical part and the conical angle. When putting them together in my hands is seams to fit, but I hesitate to try it with 54 NM of torque...

Doe anyone know whether it's safe to try? I'd hate to have to buy a new powermeter crank for my new bike...

    Anyone any ideas?

Why not just swap the spiders and see if it works? It's not the spindle you're changing, it's the spider.

The spider of the DUB crank is 3 bolt. The spider of the BB30 powermeter crank is 8 bolt.

Looks to me you need to sell your current power meter and get one to fit your DUB crank.

Hi...DUB isnít really a bottom bracket standard as such, itís an axle standard that can be used in a wide variety of the current BB shells (BB30, BSA, or Pressfit) with the appropriate BB so your bike should have one or other of those shells to which you should be able to fit whatever cranks you want and I think your existing XT cranks should be compatible with any of the BB shells.

Sell your old one to recover some of the money you just spent.

Now that it's too late anyway, you could have simply run mismatched crank arms- the power meter drive side with the new left arm/spindle. Yes, they do match up.

If that offends your sense of aesthetics, you could swap the bottom bracket spindle between cranks. Sure, the non-drive side fastening bolt says "Do not remove", but you can do it anyway.
