Preload adjuster on the PF30 SRAM X1 1400 crank

After every ride and often during a race, the preload adjuster seems to loosen up and there is some lateral play on my crank. When I opened everything up I realized what a pathetic piece of crap this is. I can force the plastic ring over the threads (by hand) even when I tighten the preload adjuster. No wonder it slips.

So my question for you guys is: does anyone sell such preload adjusters, preferably made of aluminium. Thank you
    My rides:
    Lynskey Ti Pro29 SS
    RM Suzi Q 90 RSL
    KHS Team 29
    S-Works Roubaix
    KHS CX 550 cyclocross
