New question here. Is it possible to convert SLX SL-m670 non ISpec to ISpec?

    Hi,

Has anyone tried converting the normal SLX SL-m670 shifters to ISpec mounts or atleast removing the indicators? Do the newer shifters have the covers underneath the indicator like the older models?

    Thanks

Looks like if you had a whole other shifter to steal parts from it might be possible - depends if that center shaft is threaded for the mount on the non-ISpec. Otherwise, no.

The techdoc seems to indicate that the cover should be provided but there are comments on the web where the newer ones don't seem to have it.
I can see OE shifters missing it as it might save a few pennies. Should be easy to determine by looking at the shifter.
