    One Up 45 tooth sprocket??

Was thinking about trying this behemoth. Those of you that are using it I would like to hear how it's working out?? Are you able to use a medium cage derailleur? What front ring did you change to after adding the 45t?

    Current setup -

    XT 11-40 cassette
    1-Up 45T
XT Medium Clutch RD - Stock B-Tension
    XT 11-Speed shifter
    RF N/W 30t
    KMC X11SL chain

Best shifting setup I've had in a long time!

    I am using it with:

    XT 11-40 cassette
    1-Up 45 & 18
    XTR 11 shifter
    Garbaruk 30 Oval Chain ring
    Shimano XT chain

Works perfectly. One thing to consider before you go that route is that Shimano might come in with a 1146 (XT? XTR?) cassette this year Spy Shot: Prototype 11-46 Wide Range Shimano Cassette

Wow the 45 tooth was sold out on One Up's web site. I found it at Jenson USA and ordered it.

I was using a 32 tooth chain ring and will be switching to a 34. Looks like a lot of good reviews, cant wait to try it!!

So I ended up getting the 45 tooth one up sprocket and used it with my XTR 11 speed cassette. Up front I am using a one up 32 oval chain ring. Installation and adjustment was super easy!

Coming from a previous one up 10 speed conversion I was a little scared to hack a new XTR setup with the one up monster ring. I was not disappointed! The shift quality was amazing, I never have to worry about it now. For me the 45 and 32 oval up front is as low as I will ever need to go. So I am very happy.

The only negatives are the weight, over 400 grams for the cassette after the 45 tooth is added. Second is I would like something lower than an 11 tooth on the cassette. I have been eyeing the E-13 11 speed cassette, it has the 9 and 10 speed gears I would like and is 100g lighter.
