    GX1 10 speed vs. GX1 11 speed derailluer

Could a GX1 11 speed derailleur work with a GX1 10 speed or SRAM X7 shifter or are the cable ratios different?

I am currently happy with 10 speed but if I were to have to replace the rear mech, it would be nice to buy one that could be used for 11 speed later. I know this is possible with shimano but wondering if possible with SRAM.

While I haven't tested myself, I believe they are different cable pull ratios. X-actuation vs Exact Actuation. But for what it's worth, I notice a hell of a lot less shift effort on the 11 speed stuff. Might be worth it just to get the 11 speed GX shifter, its only like 35 bucks. Then hopefully there's enough low limit screw to effectively limit it to 10 speed.

The 11 speed stuff shifts so nice, I replaced all my old 10 speed setups even though it didn't give me any more range.
