    Dura-Ace bar end upside down?

Which way do most people install their Dura-Ace bar end shifter? It feels better to push down when climbing to larger gears.

I know they work great when installed the correct way and your palms don't rest on the cable housing when on the drops, I've never seen them run the other way but it seems like it would be awkward and potentially dangerous.

It'll work fine, idk why it would ever be considered "dangerous", though I will concede the housing may make it uncomfortable.

I did qualify my statement with 'potentially'. A sharp object pointing upwards doesn't sound sound ideal to me. How would you ride the drops with those things pointing into your wrists? I guess I'll stick with awkward, and add non-ergonomic. It would work, but poorly IMO.

Ha, I hadn't thought of that. The normal way works fine for me. Can't see that working, wouldn't be able to use the drops.
