    Differences between sram shifters

Is there actually any performance difference between the shifters to be worth it?

X5s tend to overshift, I wouldn't bother. X7s work well, but can feel a little vague. X9s and above all feel about the same to me.

I have x4 shifters on one bike, and expected to swap them immediately. They are way better than I expected, but the feel isn't as good as the better units. I've had no problems with mis-shifts, so I'll keep them until they wear out.
