    Correct BB install lube

I am installing raceface cranks in my 2017 Slash. Also installing the Wheels Mfg enduro bearing kit to accommodate the 30mm spindle in the carbon frame's PF92 BB. I have everything needed except the proper PTFE for install of new BB. Install happens this weekend.

Question: Does the bottom bracket shell on the slash carbon frame have a metal liner/inner shell? If metal, I would use waterproof grease when pressing in the enduro bearings. If no metal shell (all carbon), the instructions for the bearings say to apply PTFE. Can anyone recommend what type of PTFE I should have on hand? Is there something better than PTFE that would be carbon-friendly and help eliminate future creaks?

PTFE lube is any synthetic based lube like Teflon lube such as Superlube. However I would use a retaining compound instead of lube/grease. A retaining compound like loctite 680 or park rc-1 the specific product made for pressfit applications. That said if I had to choose a grease to use I'd go with PM600 for its high viscosity and resistance to being pushed out and moisture.
