better 2x cranks to use with di2 then xtr?

Building up a new bike.. Putting di2 on there and got to thinking if there would be a better/lighter/stronger crank to use vs xtr...

Anyone know of a different crank set that would work well with the di2 system that might be worth looking at over xtr ? It will be 2x system...

I'm using Race Face Next SLs, but in my opinion Shimano chainrings shift better.

^agree about the chainrings, there are lighter (better?) cranks but I think you'd get the most out of the d12 auto front shift with the xtr rings.

The Specialized Carbon S-works cranks are not only one of the lightest options available, they are fairly cheap as well although you have to order them through a Spesh dealer. They use a standard 64/104 bolt pattern so you can run any old school chainrings on them. I currently use a set with an XTR 2*11 drivetrain.

I might be off on my numbers, but I think with chainrings overall they were 100+ grams lighter than XTR "trail" cranks.
