    New question here. Best Chain

I know this mainly a mountain bike based forum. However being it is a chain question, I don't think it would matter. My son has a 2011 Diamondback Joker BMX bicycle. Never had any issues with it other then normal wear and tear. However Monday night my son was coming home from school when the chain snapped and it caused him to crash. We just replaced the chain about 2 weeks ago. Bought it at Walmart (yes I know that is why it snapped, lesson learned).

What brand of chain do you recommend? From looking at the manual it takes a 1/2 x 1/8 chain. Any thoughts?

I'm not familiar with BMX chains, but maybe try this one: http://www.amazon.com/KMC-DropBuster...ywords=kmc+510

If you want to do some research check out this thread: Best chain for bmx? - Pinkbike Forum

If you get a BMX chain with good reviews on Amazon/etc, you should be good to go.
