Bar end shifter degrees of travel

I am considering converting to Shimano SL-BS77 9-Speed Triple Bar End Shift Levers.

About how many degrees must you move the left and right shift levers to traverse the triple crank and the 9-speed cassette?

If I remember right it's pretty close to 90 degrees for both of them.

Just looked at mine and it's a bit more than 90, probably about 110. Hard to put a number to it since the tip of the shifter is angled from the body. For the left shifter, don't forget the front is friction so actual travel and position will be determined by cable setup and front ring setup. On mine it appears to be slightly less than 90 with 3 rings.
Don't forget, since this is a road shifter you can go 10 speed just by changing the cassette and buying the 10 speed shifters. And seems to me the 10 speed shifter is cheaper than the 9 speed.
