9 speed cranks versus 10 speed cranks

Excuse me if this question has been asked. I searched on the mtbr forums but could not find my answer.

Is there any difference between 9 speed cranks versus 10 speed cranks, besides the chain ring sizes? I am looking at moving to 10 speed, but I am wondering if I need to change my whole crankset.

    Thanks in advance

As far as I know the (newer?) 9 and 10 speed SLX/XT cranksets are the same. The rings are different both in tooth count and spacing.
Duct tape iz like teh Force. It has a Lite side and a Dark side and it holdz the Universe together.
