New question here. 10 speed chain on 9 speed group

    Hi,

Will a 10 speed KMC X10SL chain work with a 9 speed group? If so, is it better, worse or same as 9 speed chain?

    Currently I have...

    Nino Grip shift for shimano
Nino 9 spd 11-32 Ti Cassette
    XT m771 RD
    XT m770 crankset

    Thank you!

10 speed chains work with a 9 speed group.
9 speed chains work with an 8 speed group. And so on.

I've been using a X10SL chain on a Shimano XTR 9 speed drivetrain for over a year now. No issues whatsoever. Smooth, fast shiffting

I would also like to add that the chain still has zero stretch which is saying something with all the steep climbing I put it through. The XTR 7701 type chain I use to use had stretched everytime by this time in it's useful life.
