    10 spd Ultegara chain

    Hey,

Anyone know if the 10 spd Ultegara (CN6701) chain is compatible with a Dyna-Sys XT cassette (HG94)?

    Thanks

While it will work OK the Dyna-sys and 10spd road chains are different. They have subtle differences in the plates that are designed to work with better with their respective cassette ranges. If you have the Ultegra chain and don't have a road bike to use it on go ahead. Other wise save it for the pavement or buy the correct chain.

10 speed SRAM, Shimano, Connex, KMC, etc (except Campy 10 speed which are wider) chains will all work on Shimano or SRAM 10 speed systems (road or mtb).

Sram chains run really well on campy 10. FYI.

But as I mentioned above, not the other way around (at least the older 6.2mm versions)
