Yo check my clean ass bicycle. (red)

What do you folks think? This is a DMR Sidekick II, a steel hardtail with a 4x/slalom geometry. It is awesome, a really snappy, smooth, race bike from abroad. It is pretty much pimped with components and maintained at a bike shop through the summer. I havent ridden it since then. What do you think i could get for it, 1100?

damn hahaha I would wish to hae a bike like that one, haha but instead I use a crapy blast 2005 all beaten up
Road riders put their bikes on top of shiny $50,000 cars. But the average full-suspension rider puts his bike on top of a beat-up barely-hanging-together car that costs a fraction of what their bike costs. For them their bike is their life.

    Nice rig.

mtbgiovanny, the Kona Blast is a decent bike. Ride it and enjoy it, that's the important thing.

Those old age headtubes scare me, specially on Kona's. I saw one dude snap his. He was a retard and kept riding it and busted his ankle somehow when his frame failed.

You just compared my bike to a Kona. Konas suck donkey dicck, they are really shitty bikes that are flexy, with shitty mini-pivots, even to this day on their pros bikes. If it wasnt for their image i dont know where they would be. Get a Trek Session 77, becasue it is young ill. This bike is fun to ride, BUT DO YOU, CONSUMERS, THINK I COULD GET 1200 FOR IT. WHAT PRICE SEEMS FAIR?

I disagree. And they would've never built that image if they didn't produce quality bikes. Kona has done great things for the sport.

Apparently you haven't seen the cracked Sessions, or dealt with the creaky frames.

Why are you selling if this is the new race bike or whatever? And no, 1200 is high. You only get about 40 to 60 percent for used bikes.

Not a chance. You could get about half that. Look around on ebay and in classified ads, bike prices are very low right now.

How many have you seen break? And where did they break? I can relate to the creaky part, mine made a little bit of noise. The top bolt on the shock, mainly.
I've heard the guarantee is pretty good, is this true?

I've seen 2 in person, 2 on these forums. The seat tube seems to be the fail point.

Trek does step up and take care of the warranty though.

A friend of mine has snapped something like 8 or 9 of them, I've been present for one of the snappings. But Trek has taken care of them as far as I know.

You'd prob. do better parting that bike out, together you won't get $1200 for it.
