X-Post from RM: A few decent pics

Here are a few shots from a ride today. I ran out of battery pretty quick (and this is the first time my friend and I have shot riding) so there's nothing special here, but I figured I'd post anyways. I'm in the black helmet and my friend Connor's in the red one. We traded off on the bike since his bike is apart.

    Yup, Gridley trail in Ojai.

Ehhh, I prefer SB honestly. The lower section of this trail is fun, but it's really not worth the drive compared to what you guys have.

Gridley is still good fun, especially the lower section. A good little bit of surprise exposure there just below the fire road if you didn't climb up that way. The upper is much like Ysidro/Knapps.

I remember that section. Use the rock that you are rolling over in your second pic (Mark) as a booter to land on the downslope of the big slab in the foreground. Just stay low.

    cool pics man!
Road riders put their bikes on top of shiny $50,000 cars. But the average full-suspension rider puts his bike on top of a beat-up barely-hanging-together car that costs a fraction of what their bike costs. For them their bike is their life.

I tried today and just ended up landing manualing, I couldn't hit the transition 'cause it's so small.

Next time you're planning on coming up to Ojai drop me a line and show me how it's done.

Yeah, it looks way flatter in pics. It's not steep but you definately carry your speed.
