X-0 long cage vs X-0 medium Cage rear Der.

    Sup peeps,

just had a quick question, i currently ride a 05 Yeti ASX hence my S/name....and was wondering with TRUVATIV HOLZFELLER 32/22 crank set with only 2 rings. If i switch to a X-0 rear derailer (long cage) with X-9 tiggers with there be any major difference between staying with long cage vs medium cage....any info will be helpful....

    Peace.

    M

Go medium. It's shorter therefore less prone to getting hit on rocks, it also is shorter meaning less area to bend/break...

Mike? hahha its me john.. it should work fine.. just might be better to have shorter cage.. the long cage makes up for the extra chain length required to run a big ring.. but its fine.. since with a long cage on a 3-ring setup.. you can choose to use your front 2 rings only and have it still work.
there were a few threads on it... heres one: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.ph...ong+short+cage

Medium will be fine to use, either on a double or triple (As long as on a triple you don't cross chain).
