She was behind me on the Sport coarse, "Phil, this is the part you should Pedal..."

    But, I WAS pedaling

She is gettin' way fast, I'm real proud of her... we all are.

Hollis's Gfriend, ya she's been riding 2-3 years now? She rides Falls City with us... she's more into DH racing now...

We, also, got Vanessa, who just did the Ski Jump drop on Grannies Kitchen in Falls City this weekend, and Erica who has been doing the Basic Training drop... they both race DH, as well... they all kick ass.

    sick trails...

had so much fun there yesterday...1st run = everyone telling each other they're just "going to warm-up" sure dude. Mach 10 to the rock drop, it was the fastest I've gone on a bicycle. I'll definately be hitting up Will. Pass again...

by the way pdirt, can't remember, do you want me to ship the wheel to you or leave it at santiam?

    How were the trails?

What was the condition of the trails? Still just the beginner, sport, and expert trails? Anything new? Is there a foot of powder on the expert course yet? Any info would be appreciated since I am thinking of going up next weekend. Thanks.

I'm new to the area and I'm thinking of heading down there this weekend. Just curious, how many trails are there? How long are the runs? The pictures look pretty steep, is that typical of all the trails? Is there camping close by? The website only shows winter info. Thanks.

That run is actually way steeper than the shots look... the double Hollis is doing over the ladder/ log is out da hizzay... that's on the expert coarse.

but there are mutliple levels of coarses and runs. There is camping at Gold Lake, and the parking lot of the pass, use to be like 5 bux a night? So, ya... there are some very steep runs, and very easy both.

The hotels in Oakridge are pretty cheap too, and not far of a drive, especially if the roads are clear.

You could still ski at northstar right now. Trails are still covered.

Weekend of the 18th is a possibility for me.

PM me when yer comin' we'll show ya what IS there anyway... there is a rumor of a free ride park, but meh... we'll see... we have a pretty fun trail on the backside, not an 'official run' but we keep it low key and they are pretty tolerant so far.

Do you like to race? First race is the 25th/26th weekend. It's like 40 bucks though to race, but that covers yer lift for both days I beleive, so....ya.

I'll be up there at least twice before that, than on the 26th for the race.

Races are fun, man... at least I think so...

bring yer own Hawtsauce though Woo, we don't like to share much, that's how we be rollin'

DH dude is totally right, now's the time, starts to suck around July, I mean it's still fun, but not AS fun, too dusty.

Gee thanks for calling attention to it! Notice I didn't call it by name? They, the Pass folks, know about the trail, and like I said, because we keep it low key, they are cool with it.

I'm not a racer. I find races usually interfere with my riding time. But I'll definitely let you know if/when I'm headed up. I know the east cascades get just as dusty or worse than it gets down here. I want to kayak on that bad ass lake right there too.

Be aware the lift shuts down during thunderstorms.

Raining in Westfir at the moment.

    Wait... it stopped...oops, pouring again...stopped. Sun's out...pouring...sun...rain...
