My V10 is often referred to as 'goldy' or 'hotstuff but of course thats when I'm all alone with it.

My Big Hit is simply referred to as "the sickness".

Mainly because my wife thinks it's sick the way I spend money on it (and it would seem she's not alone huh CatDaddy? ) .

Yeah, I named my bike out there (correct usage of the word, btw) on the bike rack the dirty banana because it is a crappy yellow fram and it is always muddy. And I have never called it that. Perhaps that is only the way I think of it.

Steely Dan (steel HT), and The Chappy (Banshee Chaparral). They both have very distinct personalities, and each of them get upset when not used for multiple hours. When they whine, I just give them the proper TLC (and myself some THC) and they love it.

My girlfriend thinks I'm mildly retarded.

And I thought I was the only one! I call one bike Fluffernutter, and the other one is called Pippen. Fluffernutter is a mighty steed that does not balk at a gravely road, even when its damp out! And Pippen is a potent chap that isn't afraid to brave half hour rides at times.

my hardtail ('98 GT Bravado) answers to "Furry Missile" and my freeride/dh bike ('05 Orange Patriot 6.6 FR) will shortly be christened "Ninja Patriot". I would prefer to extend this name slightly (i.e. *something* the Ninja Patriot) but am currently rather lost for inspiration. your bike should be one of your best friends, I see no problem in giving the relationship some personalised attributes.

I'm getting a new orange blur 4x. It is going to have all black components, and I just found a sdg bell air tiger seat. So I'm thinking of calling it Tigger, as in winnie the pooh cause the thing is going to be plush as hell and fly like a mF!

I don't name them until I get rid of them, and then they get the names of hated girls or my ex's, who I'll be so kind as to leave out for now... Except my RM7, of course, the first name for any good bike, was: Susie. Duh. Boring. And my first big-hitting bike.
