    Whistler VS Sea Otter

    Which one?

I love whistler, I'm totally addicted. its only a 7hr drive! I REALLY want to go back this summer.

But, I can only afford one trip.

I've never been to sea otter. it would probably have less riding than I would like. but I would be able to hang out with quite a few friends and have a great time there as well. but its a whopping 15hr drive to get there.

I can only afford to either go to whistler, or to sea otter. which one should I go to?

sea otter is an overrated mud pit hell hole. Fun as hell, but sheisty riding.

I havent even been to whistler and I know that Whistler > Sea Otter, any day the week.

I would go to Whistler. I have never been to See Otter but I have been to Whistler and Whistler ROCKS! and it's got so many good trails like Freight Train, Dirt Merchant, Clown Shoes, A-line, Bone Yard.

    I'm goin back this summer.

Dude, simple answer.......you've been to Whistler so go to Sea Otter and give that a try. That way you can say, "been there, done that" as well. I am all about the experience in life. I live to say, "been there, done that"

    I've done both

    WHISTLER hands down

i live like 50 minutes from sea otter
    it was super fun
and i'll be going back every year
but the riding isn't thattt great...
it's cool seeing/meeting the pros and seeing all the manufacturers' tents and everything, but for riding whistler is 100x better

i'll be going back there this year as well :-)

i'm envious of your 7 hr drive to whistler, i have to fly then drive and it gets pricey

Road riders put their bikes on top of shiny $50,000 cars. But the average full-suspension rider puts his bike on top of a beat-up barely-hanging-together car that costs a fraction of what their bike costs. For them their bike is their life.

I've done both and had way more fun at Whistler. Sea Otter is only 4 hours away but I would rather drive 18 hours to Whistler.

SOC is very fun..but im 100% sure that whistler would be much more fun. i don't think you really go to SOC for the riding unless you really care about the races because its nothing real special. you go to get free swag, chill with friends and meet as many hotties as possible

Sea Udders is fun to hang out, drink, camp and watch racers and go to all the trade booths and the occasional new video premiere. Then again I only live an hour away. I wouldn't spend 15 hours driving there. Don't be dumb and save your money for Whizzles. ForShizzleWhizzle is like heaven.....
