In the pic of the Stawamus Chief, you can see me to the left of the dot flipping you off and smoking some chronic.

Nice trip though. I love Canada. Sounds like you love it too.

FYI....about 5 miles in From the boarder they had one cop standing on the overpass with a radar gun....he would then radio to the other cops on the entrance to the freeway to pull you over....we got lucky because the other car was hauling butt

that landing WAS the landing for the massive ladder drop. guess they took the ladder drop out but didn't rebuild the gapotron.

Yeah last year they made the landing for the Gapotron into a nice step down, but it didn't happen until September or so. I just got back from there today and as of yet they haven't done anything with it.

Whistler is so much fun, but boy are the trails in bad shape right now. Can't wait until September when the cooler, wetter weather allows the trails to be buffed and stay buffed.

nothing is feeding into it properly, but something might happen. looking up to the right there is three options onto the landing to the right. The boneyard and bikercross has so much fun stuff, every run down was through there.

the later you go this year the better, lots of new trails in progress. They opened lower joyride last weekend.

I got at least one more blurry picture of you SMT, and some video of the crew to post also. soon.

It has been....which is a good thing from a fire standpoint.

For the record, the trails are in decent shape considering they had 14,000 riders the week of Crankworx, but the trail crew has been dedicating most of the resources to finishing Lower Crank it Up. Now that it's mostly done, hopefully, they'll be able to clean up some of the bad brake bump areas on the other trails.

As for the Gap-o-tron, they will be putting another gap/stepdown thingy there like they did last year. I was hoping they'd leave the lower ladder in place, but I think they realized the carnage that would ensue with the general public hitting it.

    Cheers,
    EB
