I'm sure the original has much better quality. By the time you compress them for the web, they just don't look as good.

if you compare it to other helmet cam footage, this was pretty good quality. i kno with my helmet cam it looks like garbage compared to this, but i cant expect it to be too great considering it was only 160 bux (one of those go pro cams).

Yea, sorry bout the quality, I gotta figure out better compression cause the original footage is fairly good.

I mounted the camera on my goggle strap, it has a wide angle lens so it has a fairly good field of view.

the camera is the VIO POV 1 check them out at VIO-POV.com

I'm using the same cam. Great resolution.

One question though...you say you have it attached via your helmet strap....I know it sounds stupid , but could you take a picture of how you have that done? I've been trying to figure out a way that I can take it from one helmet to the other, moto bike to mtn bike helmet. I've also got a trip to Whistler coming up and would love to be able to let other riders in the group use the camera.

Does that helmet strap deal hold the cam steady enough?

    Thanks for the info!

Cool. I have that but just haven't ever bothered trying to use it as I was thinking it would just bounce around too much. Guess I'll have to give it a try.

Do you have any secrets to good audio with the in-line mic? I seem to get a lot of wind noise and have been meaning to wrap a little foam around it....
