Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Wher Did All The Bikes Go???

DOes anyone know what happens to the bikes once the pros are done thrashing them?
Like if they get a new sponsor.
    DO they sell the bikes?
Do they give them back all broken and stuff?

You can find them on ebay or in the classifieds section of this site and Ridemonkey a lot of the time.

The rider usually sells them after they've ridden them for a season or if they've switched sponsors since they can't use their "old brand" bikes or tires or clothing any longer. I know a guy that bought one of Super T's dares off of ebay when he switched over to Santa Cruz. Usually, those guys are pretty lowkey about selling items because it doeesn't look good if they're profiting from extra swag from their sponsors.

They just had the annual Geoff Gullevich garage sale up in Vancouver a few weekends ago. They had a bunch of stuff from him, Ryder kasprick, Berrecloth, Jordie Lunn, Wade, etc. Basically, they all bring their leftover stuff and sell it for super cheap..... Some crazy deals to be had, but I didn't go up for it.

    Cheers,
    EBX

If it has all the parts from companies they are sponsored by... Usually if you communicate with them about buying it their name will pop up somewhere, too.
