I'm a little torn here so I wanted to get some opinions. As some know I'm building up a do-it-all intense SS. I've got hope pro2/flows for the wheelset and am gonna order some tires now.

I've had tubeless on my bikes with some minimal issues. Sidewall slashes, large punctures, etc... from riding place like bootleg canyon in vegas. Just carry a spare tube. However those were a 4" travel and hardtail mainly for XC use. This new bike will be for FR, sometimes N* as well as general XC.

So, I'm not gonna throw racing ralphs on there or some nonsense. However I AM debating whether to run a tougher tubeless all the time, or just get a more AM/XC tubeless (2.25-2.3") and a separate shuttle/lift tires.

Opinions?
