Well since you asked which is the better DH bike, the choice is the Glory.

Never ridden a jamis but I do own a 2008 Glory DH and it's by far one of the best bikes Ive ever been on. It corners great, makes gnar rock gardens feel like pavement, and does pretty much everything else really well too. It's a true dh feeling bike.

Glory's are put together very well. All the Jamis frames I've looked at aren't constructed nearly as nice.

Put that together with a superior suspension design and a lifetime warranty on the front AND REAR triangle and it's a no-brainer.

Never ridden a Glory, but I loved my Faith so much that I bought a Reign! Super happy with Giant's Maestro.

another vote for the glory. true dh geo, super plush and awesome complete build (if you so choose). have ridden a friend of mine's several times and everytime i come away just wowed at its ability to track and just flat out fly. little heavy, but IMO DH is not the place to be cutting corners

Wow no love for Jamis? For the record the Bam II looks like a sweet DH rig. Anyone ridden one yet?

Jordie Lunn rides the bam and he can rip, any downhill bike these days is going to perform well. But the better bike by all means is the glory

Any bike would look sick if you slaped all those super blingy parts on it.

That parts spec on a steamy turd would look like a sweet DH rig... But the Glory flat out performs. It would be an easy decision for me.
