    What Trick is this?

    Hi all, I was just wondering what the trick the guy does at 3:00 is called?

    Not sure if people have given it some cheesy name, but I would call it a big whip over a hip jump.

    If anything, its a "tabletop", done in BMX a lot

    Back when Guy Cooper was in his prime on a moto, he would throw THE biggest whips. We called them whips. Whatever you call it, it is still the cleanest, best looking trick on a moto/bike, IMHO.

    We used to call em X-up or crossed up. Old school term.
    Oldest daughter doesn't ride.

    I remember Guy cooper well. I raced moto for most of my teenage years and yep, that guy threw the hugest whips I had ever seen. Now people like JS7 and Canard have that crown. Still the best trick of all.

    Also, I was curious how easy the table top is to execute clipped in versus on flats? I ride clipped in and it seems like the angles on the ankles might be difficult whiles clipped in?

    Whips and tables are two different things, whips can get laid over but they are two different things.

    You may very well come unclipped, google bmx tabletop and you will see guys with feet off pedals and sort of resting on the cranks.
