What Red Bull event in the French Alps?

Hi guys, I just came back from Morzine, and we rode down to a Red Bull downhill/freeride event which I'm trying to find more info on (it was awesome).

Does anyone know what it is called?

It was probably the Chatel Slope Style thing, assuming it was in the pre la joux bike park...

It was the Chatel Mountain Style. Here is a link to a video of the contest.

Yeah, the flip at the finish on the long jump by Julien Fournier was incredible but you can't tell in the video. Claw's 3 drops were sweet as well. There was so much sick riding going down. I loved seeing 2 downhillers up there with 3 freeriders on the podium. It was Sorge 1st, Bearclaw 2nd, Pedemanaud 3rd, Barrett 4th, and Romaniuk 5th.

I was head judge and one of the organizers by the way.

Great stuff. It certainly added something really cool to our first trip to the Alps as we didn't know this was on. It's also the first time I've seen an event at this level live and I think you really get the sense of the scale of difficulty by being there. Atmosphere was fantastic too.

If it is on next year it's something we will certainly try and go on the same dates to see again.

Will the footage be making it into any DVDs?
