Listen! What downhill bike should i get?????

I have resently got a car so i no longer need a bike as transport at all so i was looking at more impractical bikes for the road and more downhill worthy, i quite like the idea of a demo 8 or 9 but im not realy sure, does anyone have any thoughts?? would be very grateful

Hi. Best thing to do is decide on what bikes/frames you like and look at the reviews. This will give you an idea of what is hot and not. IMO demo8/9 are great but think what you are wanting to do as the 8 is aimed at DH and the 9 at big drops and hucks hence heavier and stronger.

I like DH more than the whole freeride thing so I would look at the Intense M3, Santa Cruz V10 or the Orange 223. All are the best of the best.

The demo bikes from specialized are the best for freeriding but if you want a more DH bike, then you should get an intense M3!
    Always having fun!

well you need to consider what you do more. do you like DH or FR more. that will help you to decide as others have already said. if you can afford an intense m3 for DH then go for it. if you like freeride maybe look into the demo 9
