What brakes can I use on the foes floating brake?

So I got a 04 foes fly with the floating brake and I was wondering if you could only use certain brakes on it and if so which ones. The brakes that are on it now are hayes mag and I need a better setup. Thank you very much.

just like every other bike, you can use any brake that you want...

My friend had an old Schwinn Straight 8 with a funky floating rear brake, possibly similar age of your bike. It also had a Hayes Mag, but it was a nonstandard brake mount. Pretty funky looking, not sure if it would be possible to find a upgrade replacement. It could be possible that yours has the same caliper? You should post a picture just to be sure, or you can use some digital calipers to measure the distance between the mounting holes. Measure from the center of one hole to the center of the other. You can use anything to measure it really, just try to get a precise measurement and convert it to millimeters.

I finally got intouch with foes and they said I should be able to use any caliper. So thats cool

that straight 8 has a 22mm post mount. the fly has an IS mount...
