Litrally in the last couple of days someone else has highlighted this weird combination. Personally I think its trying to hard to to be something that is not quite moto or mtb and therefore will probably have too many shortfalls. Its so light yet powered, when will it snap?

Dude on the video is like a $1.50 in body weight and is bottoming out the forks on everything he rides over.

yeah I don't know about those things. Is it just me or does it look like they built that thing about two sizes two small in the video.

I guess it seems like a kinda cool idea but then again so did communism, so in conclusion I don't like it and it should have stayed just an idea.
Bart with $10,000 we'd be millionares. We could buy all sorts of valuable things...like love.

For 7g I'd buy a nice mx and roost all over anyone who spent that much on one of those. While laughing maniacally, of course.

have you guys seen how much money people have been dumping into honda 50's? this thing has the same hopped up motor, yet similiar geometry to a dh bike. it might be legal to race it in one of the modified 50's classes at a mx track. i bet that thing would really rip around a track and show that a bike doesn't need to weigh 230 lbs.

i'm a motocrosser turned mtb'er, so i guess that's why i like it. i could see why a die hard bicyclist wouldn't like it, or a similiar motorcycle guy too.

I think they are pretty cool. I DH a lot, but I also own a KTM 200 (2 stroke) that IMO is the ultimate singletrack mx bike, but still weighs 220 w/o gas. I've ridden super tight trails that if you make a mistake you can kiss your bike good bye. With a smaller and super light bike I could access a lot of trails unrideable on a mx bike. Something like that would also be a blast on a backyard track.

Imagine a DH bike that was just as fun to ride on flat trails as downhill.
Can't keep track anymore - Giant, Santa Cruz, Pivot, Yeti, Norco, Salsa, Intense - if it rolls on dirt I like it

And then ride a good 250cc two stroke and tell me if you still have the same perception. It's like comparing a briggs and stratton 5 hp go cart with decent suspension to a Lotus Elise. It may be fun, but it ain't a mx...

Thats all we need on the trails in ca... more motors.

Gas prices are going up, so lets invent more gas powered vehicles.

I want to build my own.
I know some guys with welders and stuff, plus my dad's a TV repairman and has the ultimate set of tools.

I'd take it to the motocross track or indoor track and ride with the 50's.
