Website to buy a dh bike?

Whats a good site with good prices of course to buy a dh bike? The only decent one I have found is Randall scott but they don't have what i am looking for. Everything is "no longer avaliable". Any websites you guys recommend?

If you stated what you are looking for, you might get better suggestions.

If you are looking at Randall Scott, then look into the linked thread below and look for his posts and tell me if you'd buy from him. While most of the posts have been edited by him in some way, many of them were quoted with the original text by those replying:

If you have a good LBS, then yes. If not....the web is the way to go. I have two places near me I can go to. One of them has terrible service, bad price gouging, and the guys are in general dicks. The other shop was horrible as well until the guy running the shop (not the owner mind you) got into some **** and carted away. Then the owner moved back into the state to tend the shop since he had just retired anyways and he has absolutely been a godsend. Great service, tailors each trip to really make you feel like you're a unique customer, and great pricing. If he hadn't taken over the shop I wouldn't even consider the local shops as a possible resort in the most extreme circumstances. Unfortunately not all of us are lucky to have a great lbs.

Thanks for the help. I would love to buy from my local store unfortunately im not into paying full msrp and all dh bikes have to be ordered they do keep any in stock. It's pretty surprising as i am from south lake tahoe, but online seems to be the way to go for my situation. I am looking for a bike in the 1k-2k range maybe more just seeing what I can get and looking for the right bike.

If your budget is only $1-2k, check out demos or used bikes at Northstar or Mammoth, especially at the end of the season. Otherwise, craigslist or eBay.

Ya thats my plan. The 7 point on rs didn't seem like a bad deal. What do yo guys think it would cost for cheap components if i just bought a frame and built it cheap until i have money to build it up?
