What kind of bike is the fork on?

If you stray too far from your current axel to crown measurement one way or the other, it will affect the bikes handling. Too tall a fork and your head angle slackens and the BB height goes up.

What bike is it going on?
Why do you need a 1.5?

I would be putting my new fork on my Haro x7.

    I guess I dont realy need a 1.5.
I could get a headset reducer but it would be more of a pain to deal with.

They don't make dual crown forks with 1.5" head tubes as far as I'm aware. So maybe look at a rockshox totem, marzocchi 66, or rockshox domain for a budget option.

what is your price range? I think a marzocchi 66 would work well.

my totem has been awesome. it's the coil version. it came with a leak on the mission control. called sram, no questions asked they sent me a new mission control damper. hasnt leaked since. mine is set up to be plush on the first 6 inches, i rarely bottom it out. i have it in my dirtbag. i really really like the totem. I'd recommend it.

you might want to check out a domain then. Im pretty sure totems go for more than 350-400, unless you are looking at used forks
