    VP-Free w/ 128 BB + 36t e13 DRS + Front der?????????

Anyone running a e13 DRS and clamped front deraileuar on a VP-Free?
Specifically what front deraileur are you using (XT, LX)?

I've got that damn huge 128mm BB on this thing and a 36t supercharger bash and I'm having trouble getting the clamp deraileaur in the right spot. One of the bolt keeps smacking the rear triangle.

Should I abandon ship and go for the e-type der.?

I haven't attempted the DRS yet. I'm trying to find the sweet spot with the fr. der. 1st.

If anyone has any pics of a successful setup that would be helpful.

    Muchas gracias.

    This is my setup:

    Med VPFree
    128mm BB
e.13 DRS Guide (36t Supercharger Bash)
XT 760 Low Clamp Front Detailleur

I had the problem you mention when trying to use a high clamp front derailluer - you must use a low clamp.

As I said I'm using the XT 760 and I know there's also a Saint/Hone, LX equivalent - no problems.

Thanks man. My ders are all high clamp. I'll have to get a low clamp one.

How many back plates are you using on the DRS?

I'm running all the backing plates they give you (I think it's 4) to space it out far enough to avoid getting some serious rubbing.
