I would say glory but also think about what SHIVER ME TIMBERS said it matters about your weight, your skill level and what you are going to be riding. The vp-free is more of a alround bike you can do DH, freeride, and 4X the glory is most based for DH only. Are you thinking about the 07 vp-free and 07 Glory or the 06 models?

a glory and a VP Free are completely different bikes made for different purposes. the glory is obviously a DH racing bike where as the VP Free is a very pedal friendly Big Hit/Stunt oriented bike in all. you can't even compare the two....

Judging by your username, it looks like you already have a preference?

But seriously, they really are quite different bikes, and it would help if you tell us more specificially what type of riding you're wanting to do on it, and at what level (just getting started riding DH? Starting racing? etc)
Post your youtube mountain bike videos and they'll be included in our interactive World MTB video map!

Seems odd answering SMT's question with "talking, the terrain is clay and hard dirt"

But as brokenbikes mentions your username is pretty much telling the story. Have owned a VP Free, great bike, but no not full DH orientated at all. Where by the Glory is....

More info dude and you will be helped.....................

Which glory are you looking at?
    What kind of riding?
